Busy busy long weekend. I have barely had the time to scratch myself let alone update the blog convincingly. Friday was spent running errands for my mother, picking up carloads of screaming girls and driving them to the show, and spending some quality time with Julia. Then I had to devote some time to picking the lock on my Grandpa's garage, because he lost the key. I broke in (After about 30 minutes of cursing and swearing and one small cut on my hand) and then disabled the locking mechanism so it can never be locked again.
Saturday I had to drive out to Robbo's house, which is located about 5 hours drive from where I am, in order to finish up my World Lit, 1 and 2 Essays. Was there from 12 till 4, with a short break with which I went with JC to the shops to get ice cream, and visit my cousin who gave me some free RAM.
Drove all the way home, just in time to go out again, this time for dinner with Hannah and Daw, followed by an entertaining stint at an 18th. Which is always lots of fun.
Drove home again, Slept, woke up, and went back to school. Did some more work on ToK and World Lit. and finally finished, had some lunch with the "gang" and came home.
So this is where I am now. Updating my blog, finishing everything off and eating.
Weekends are good.

Today was a day that happened in bursts.
The first half until recess was a burst to get my Extended essay finished polished and up to date. That was a burst between 8:15 and 1:45 with a short break at 11 for recess. The second burst was from 2:15 to 6:30, where I was working at finishing World lit. One and two at school, late.
In short, It was a big looooong day. The most enjoyable part of the day came between bursts where I simply lay on the concrete basking in the sun with my maths class. That was fun.
But I am allllllllllllllllmost up to date with everything, at least I will be after Sunday.
All will be good.
Deeeeeeeeeep breaths

Uni preferences are due soon. And by soon, I mean Friday, (for anyone who is looking at doing medicine that is). Which means I have to get off my ass and actually decide what I want to do with my life, and start looking at career goals etc etc.
Its boring as shit, But I'm starting to put in my preferences. Will outline that further when I get a bit more info.
In other news, I got back my extended essay which survived surprisingly un-raped and handed in final drafts of World lit. one and ToK essay. Which means I have a little less hanging over my head. Which is good. :D
Today, I saw one of the strangest things in my meandering experience as a year nine boy, walked up to his locker, climbed into it and shut the door. Quirky? Yes
Other than that. Everything is good for now. Auto-pilot is on. Rock on!

Today is a black day for Mercedes college. The Open A soccer boys made it into the grand final and despite playing a fantastic game with lots of Mercedes support, lost in a penalty shootout after playing a tied game for most part. It was a good game guys. And I'm sorry to see you lose like that.
In other news, I finished my extended essay draft and handed it in. No after school English today, which makes this day better than most other Mondays. Other than that, its late. So I might head off to bed.

Ok Kids, New links down the side in the Links section.
Be sure to visit web comic extraordinaire: Ctrl-Alt-Delete and pay homage to its creator, the talented Mr Tim Buckley. Its funny, and probably funnier if you are a computer geek and or a guy. I know that I identify with two of the characters (Lucas and Ethan are the little men inside my head, Read and you'll see why).
In addition to that, Pay a visit to Blog tree if you have the time. Basically, it is a blog genealogy site, where you register your blog, and the blog that inspired you to create your blog, then anyone else who was inspired to start a blog because of your blog. In essence, Your blog is the child of the blog that inspired you (The Parent blog) and anyone who was inspired to start blogging because of yours is your child blog. . . ..
Its complicated, and that was a shit explanation, But I know for a fact that I have plenty of child blogs out there! Register in Kiddies.
In other news I recently finished my extended essay. This is most exciting, but no doubt it will be poo raped by tomorrow. Oh well, Its one more thing off my plate.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend campers!

I am in a better mood now than I have been in a long time.
I had a fun night watching the Simpsons with Julia and selected family last night. I slept well, I woke up late (After sleeping for nearly 12 hours), I woke up to an empty house, Cooked a massive breakfast with GOOD coffee for the first time all week, Read some of Dante's Inferno and then proceeded to use all the hot water in a looooooong shower. Consequently, Now I am feeling calm, relaxed and really not in any mood to tackle the mountain of work that is sitting before me to do this weekend. I dont want to marr my good mood.
But looks like I will have to, Extended Essay, World Lit. 1 and 2, ToK essay, ToK evaluation, Chem and Physics pracs all await. Not to mention an Indo oral coming up.
Dang.
See you in the monkey house,

Update: Today the person who asked me to re-write my entire extended essay asked me if I had a new draft to give.
WHAT THE FUCK! WHERE IN AMONGST ALL OF MY OTHER HOMEWORK AND YOU KNOW SLEEP, DO YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PRODUCE A 4000 WORD ESSAY THAT WAS MEANT TO TAKE ME 2 AND A HALF TERMS TO WRITE!
ARGH!
Inhuman rage. So Very very angry right now.

Wow, Haven't updated in a while. But a lot of shit has been happening. Long story short. I discovered that a little artist by the name of john mayer is coming to Australia and only playing the east coast (From the 26th to the 29th of September). I was told this at Recess Friday. Since then it has been a flurry of activity trying to find a way for me to get there, get accomodation (Because that weekend is also AFL grand final weekend and as a result, accomodations in Melbourne are FUCKING hard to come by).
But anyway, as of 6pm, Concert tickets ,accomodations and bus tickets are all booked, and Myself and Daw are taking a pilgrimage to see the man himself. Joining us, to scream, squeal and be generally girly in the presence of the man are Libbi and Mykeila. So yes, 26th of September at the Palais theatre, I'll be there. Watching the Big man himself live in concert.
So, the last few days have lent themselves to making arrangements in between hanging out with Julia and writing a world lit. essay. Today I had 2 tests, physics and chem (which I hadn't studied for) and an indo oral (Which I didnt have to do in the end).
I did however manage to have a chat to Cobweb over the weekend. Nice girl that one. She does fit the profile of a sterotypical blogger, late nights, lots of net time. I love... wait very much enjoy because it makes me very happy, talking to people like that. I think of them as my own kind. hehehe.
In other news, Benny boy turned 18 over the weeekend, Happy Birthday to him. Our little boy is all grown up. Julia and I both sent him comforting messages. Then I hung out with her family for like 6 hours. That was exciting. Her brother is pretty cool.
Other than that, I'm writing this in the couple of minutes I have before I have to start writing World Lit 2 again. Goddamn I hate it.
Catch you all on the flip side.
hehehe,
Bye

Big day in sport.
Mercedes Open Boys soccer took a road trip out to Meningie to play Millicent and won by magnificient margin of 5 - 0. I hear the boys played well. The team now moves on to the Semi-finals.
In slightly more depressing news, long term rivals, The Mercedes Camels and the Unley.. uh.. Team met once more for the annual grudge football match. Despite hordes of Merc supporters (Myself exluded unfortunatly), Unley won by a margin of approximately four goals. Mercedes, who were going for back to back wins is understandably disspointed, but the fellas played their best.

Time for a shout out post. It's been a while.
This is for all you readers.
Starting from the top and in no particular order,
Julia: Whom I married on Saturday night, Love you hun.
Dale: Who is having a rough time of it right now, Buck up bud. Keeping my tag board alive.
Daw: Who is quite probably crazy and should get a fucking haircut.
Mykiela: Who gives me good music and gooder advice. (But not english lessons)
Kate: Who makes me laugh cause she is funny.
Hannah: Who keeps trying to beat me at checkers and failing (Because MSN crashes, not because I'm good)
Liz: Or Splizz, She calls me spiffy Nick, shortened to Spick, Therefore I must call her Splizz, Shes putting me on the radio. Also keeps my tag board alive.
Sarah S.: She brings me wedges and cleans up my table when I eat at Bonjourno's, Also crazy enough to be fun.
Libbi: She is a John Mayer fan and therefore must be cool.
Clare: Fun to argue with, even if I NEVER speak to you anymore cause I don't see you online!
Dom: Also fun to talk to, but never see you online either! lift your game girls!
Jess: Always good for a laugh. Or a Chat, Or pretty much everything. If you fold her up, she even props up most tables and stops them from wobbling!
Katie: The US connection. Always good for a chat.
Marten: The Dutch connection. Even though he fell out of the ranks of bloggers, he is still a topish bloke
Betty: Still blogging along strong. And crushed under an IB work load. Keep it up.
Cobweb: Whose real name and identity I am yet to determine, but if you think my mix of cynisim and hyperactivity is hilarious, youre a friend of mine.
Loz: For always being around.
Those who have this addy but I dont know if you read it. Sean, Steph, Sam, Nicola, Emma, Alex, Shan, Tim, Chris, Luke,Nadine, Emma and all you other random readers too nameless or non-existant to mention.
And who could forget.
God bless you IB examiners who could be checking this to see that I have fulfilled my CAS requirement. I sold my soul to your diploma programmme, but I think I would like it AND my sanity back when the year is over.
Wait, that would imply I had sanity to start with....
Wait, that would also imply I had a soul....
You know what? Fuck it, You know what I meant, I'm going to bed.
Peace

Today I reorganised and cleaned my room instead of doing homework.
Nothing terribly exciting. I rotated my bed 90 Degrees and moved some cupboards around. I like it. Its more comfortable for some reason. But yeah. Thats whats up in my life right now. Excited?

Here is a letter in todays paper's advice column
My little boy swallowed one of his Granny's hearing aid batteries. Does this matter?
Heres a few things for you dipshit;
1) No, it doesnt matter. Kids can drop hearing aid batteries like fucking popcorn and it won't have any effect on them whatsoever. As a matter of fact. Why dont you just feed them fucking acid and heavy metals. Sprinkle it over their cereal. Its good for them.
2)WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING! YOUR KID JUST ATE A FUCKING BATTERY! WHY ARE YOU SITTING DOWN TO WRITE A FUCKING LETTER! It doesnt take a genius to realise that if your child swallows a battery or any foreign material you take them to a hospital dickhead!
3)You realise of course, that this is a Sunday paper advice column. This means that to make it in, you had to have posted this letter in on Thursday, Friday at the absolute latest. That means your kid has been sitting around with a battery in their guts for at least three days by the time you get the fucking advice you need!
The response to the letter was:
"Yes, it does matter, get your child to a hospital emergency room as soon as possible. His stomach acid will dissolve the battery which contains dangerouse material. Hurry hurry!"
This moron is almost as dumb as the first. For starters, by the time the writer gets your advice it will be four days after the child has swallowed the battery. Why did you even bother writing a response?!
So, what I advise the first asshole to do is get in their car, take their dead ass kid with them, and drive to their nearest hardware store, and then jump into the woodchipper to prevent their fucked up DNA and subnormal intelligence from being passed on to future generations.

Have you ever wondered how the history from our era is going to be recorded for future generations?
I worked it out the other day.
Cave men and ancient civilisations recorded their history through cave paintings, that can still be seen today, depicting events that happened millions of years ago, from there it moved on, to normal paintings, written history. All these show what happened in that particular time period.
For our era however, history is recorded in the best way yet.
Not through paintings.
Not through writing.
Not through historic Video or Audio recordings.
It comes through stand up comics.
For every large event in our world today, stand up commedians fully document and make light of the situation. What happened in the 90's?
Well, we will look at David Letterman, Bill Clinton got head, Rosie O'Donnell hosted a chat show etc.
This year? Terrorism has been fully documented by every stand up comic that has graced the stage. The war has been covered, the war protests covered. Everything is covered by stand up comedians.
So, Get some tapes and shit organised, cause everytime they get up on stage, they are documenting our history for future generations. Its going to be a fun way to do history in the future. Our kids are going to have a ball.

I just saw something that made me giggle.
There is a Sex Shop on Brighton road, I forget its name, but on the door it says "Enter here" and underneath there is a little sign that says "Entry from rear also".
How appropriate.
hehehe

I have a riddle for you, what has four heads, eight legs and can make an entire year level dissapear in the space of a few seconds?
Ill give you a hint. It is something you might catch fish in.
Thats right, You all know who I'm talking about. Its remarkable, they turn up and seniors just dissapear; Up trees, into bushes, any nook or cranny that can hide a human body hides one. Its like rats fleeing a sinking ship.Today I was standing by our lockers and I saw someone run past yelling "They are here again". Three girls, with a look of absolute terror in their eyes, didnt ask questions, they just ran. They ran as fast as they could and hid in the girls toilets. A random guy jumped into the gap between lockers. Seniors just dissapear. The few helpless souls that get trapeed in the study, they suffer greatly.
Hehehe lots of fun.

The one chore I hate doing more than anything else in the whole world? Re-Stringing my fucking guitar. I hate it. But it was time for new strings,( And plus, on Monday night, I broke my G string) (*Immature laughter*). Yes kids, its true, Every time I break a string on my guitar, It happens to the G string. That is to say, the string that when played open will produce the note of G, not some crazy underwear. The best part about this horrible pain in the ass chore is buying new strings, cause I get discount. Thats right, So they deserve a little plug "Frets and Stix Music Co." Main South Road, Reynella, Just down from junk food junction. The guy in there is also a left hander, and consequently is aware of how painful it is. Result: Cut Price music merchandise for me. :D Yay. Back to the guitar re-stringing I guess

1. What time do you wake up on weekday mornings?
About 7 if I have to go to school, About 12 if its during the holidays
2. Do you sleep in on the weekends? How late?
I sure do. 11ish on a Saturday to recover.
3. Aside from waking up, what is the first thing you do in the morning?
Brush my teeth, or go to the toilet.
4. How long does it take to get ready for your day?
You know, long enough to get dressed, scull a cup of coffee and brush my teeth. 5-10 minutes I guess
5. When possible, what is your favorite place to go for breakfast?
McDonalds is always good post drinking food in the morning.
